The tour included lectures at The Temple of Peace, The Studio Maui, and other venues. Here is an interview broadcast on Akaku TV on wherein Sri Prem Prayojan explains some of the basic concepts of Bhakti Yoga.
This year's spring pilgrimage was a truly unforgettable experience for all involved. By the causeless mercy of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga, Sri Prem Prayojan Prabhu guided a group of individuals from around the world on a spiritual journey through Gauda Mandala, Ksetra Mandala and Vraja Mandala.
During this 3-week tour, devotees had an opportunity to have wonderful darsanas with Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja in Navadvipa Dhama and at Giriraja Govardhana, where several fortunate spiritual aspirants received Sri Harinama and Diksha initiations.
One of the specialties of this tour was the incredible sense of continuity. It began with visits to the places connected with the associates of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu who appeared before His divine appearance. Pilgrims had the opportunity to pay their respects to the dust of Ekacakra, the birthplace of Sri Nityananda Prabhu, the residence of Sri Advaita Acarya in Shantipura, the bhajana-sthali of Srila Haridasa Thakura in Phulia, and other important places in the outskirts of Gauda Mandala. Then we moved towards the heart of the dhama by performing the parikrama of Navadvipa-Mayapura under the guidance of Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja. After celebrating Sri Gaura Purnima, Mahaprabhu's birthday, the party moved on to Sri Jagannatha Puri for a week to discover the places connected with Mahaprabhu's pastimes as a sannyasi. In keeping with the chronological sequence of this profound meditation on Mahaprabhu and His associates, the third week was spent in Vraja Mandala, where many of His intimate associates resided after His divine disappearance.
The overall experience of this tour provided invaluable impressions of the pastimes of Sri Krsna, brought to life within our hearts by a constant flow of kirtan and extremely moving hari-katha. No amount of sadhana can ever be a substitute for the blessings accrued by such a pilgrimage. Becoming acquainted with the context of the lives of the Six Gosvamis and their devoted followers is more than just a history lesson. It is all part of Yogamaya's pastime of gradually incorporating us into the Divine Lila.
